Research paper to PPT with AI
Presenting a paper at journal club, in class or to your lab means boiling twenty pages down to ten slides. Upload the PDF and SlideWisp drafts the deck in the order a scientific talk follows, keeping the authors' findings and hedges.
PDF, DOCX, TXT or MD up to 10 MB. Scanned PDFs without selectable text are not supported.
What the deck includes
- Title, authors and venue
- Research question and why it matters
- Background and prior work
- Methods and data
- Key results
- Figures or numbers worth discussing
- Limitations
- Implications and open questions
- Discussion prompts
How it works
- Upload the paper as a PDF with selectable text (or paste the abstract and sections).
- Set the audience: specialists, students or a general audience.
- Generate, check every number against the paper, then download PPTX.
Tips for better results
- Results slides quote numbers only from the paper you upload; still compare them with the original tables.
- For a non-specialist audience, set tone to 'friendly' and the deck explains jargon in the speaker notes.
FAQ
Does it read figures and tables?
It reads the text of the PDF, including table text that is selectable. Images of charts are not interpreted, so paste the key numbers if they only appear in a figure.
Can I present a paper in another language?
Yes. Upload the paper and set Language to the language you will present in, for example an English paper presented in Spanish.
Is it OK to use for a class presentation?
Use it as a first draft you edit and understand. Check your course's policy on AI assistance.
